For DUNKIN’s 2026 New Year gift box collection, Shinyoung Kim focused on capturing the hopeful spirit of a new beginning while staying true to the brand’s warm and approachable identity. She incorporated traditional Korean motifs—including kite flying, Hanbok, magpies, and pine trees, throughout the illustrations, creating a playful “hide-and-seek” experience that invites customers to discover charming details. Rendered in her signature warm palette and expressive drawing style, the packaging brought a sense of comfort, celebration, and seasonal joy, offering customers a memorable visual experience in DUNKIN stores nationwide.

Christmas is a season where all people in the world celebrate. It is also one of the biggest public holidays (not a working day! Yay!). All modern busy people are waiting to relax, celebrate and have fun at Christmas. Literally, everyone, all these busy people, has a room for Christmas. Taking this “room”, the animation shows some different rooms during Christmas.​​​​​​​

Samsung Valentine’s Day Campaign

For the Valentine’s Day, a day full of love, I produced a series of scenes where love is shared; to your lover, to our lover, and last but not least, to myself. I fully enjoyed this project with utmost pleasure and confidence as I am a person who highly values the power of love. The videos are commissioned by Samsung for the Global Valentine’s campaign. Looking forward to spreading the love worldwide.

Naver – Aesthetic Construction Net Project

This is a construction safety net for the new NAVER HQ office, visible from the highway connecting Bundang and Suseo. For this project, Shinyoung focused on the harmony with the natural.

Dongwon Holiday Gift sets

Dongwon is one of the largest process food product brands in Korea. For their seasonal packaging, they wanted to visualize ‘hope’ and this packaging design will help a hundred thousand hearts delivered with cheering messages.

Snapchat – White day

Following last year, I made a lovely video for Snapchat to celebrate White Day. In Korea and Japan, we celebrate White Day which is for boys to give sweet candies as a gift to their lover. I made a short looping animation, a filter, and stickers for the holiday White Day which will be shared and viewed by Snapchat users in Korea and Japan.

Mele Kalikimaka

Mele Kalikimaka, Hawaiian way of saying Marry Christmas. Just like lyrics from a carol, Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year. For this year, I wanted to do something different. Imagine a sunny Christmas. For some it might not be too new, but for me it was quite interesting. I had fun imagining how it would be to enjoy Christmas in a sunny season and looking forward to the next year where I actually can have one.

Eden

Adam and Eve, It’s a very common story, but all the story that people heard or read is not focused on Adam and Eve’s love despite its fascination. Since Adam and Eve are the first mankind, so I thought their love represents all kinds of love till now. Therefore, I described Adam and Eve’s love. Most of all, I just thought the story would visualize the song wonderfully. In the part of the visual, I tried to put vibrant colors with bold designs. I focused on the emotions between Adam and Eve with a restrained manner, so I designed moderated characters by hiding their eyes. In addition, I hoped to convey the music’s mood with colours that changed along with beats. Adam and Eve which is expressed in its colour variations represent the diversity of mankind until today.
