Love can be complicated. Love and hate are both strong feelings, so they sometimes go along with each other. Illubelle pictured this ambivalence by twisting the meaning of the symbol for love by forming it out of letters that tell the opposite.
This illustration is dedicated to the millions of animals who were killed or hurt in the Australian bushfires. It pictures the enormous tragedy of this natural disaster and was created to shake up our society to fight against climate change. (This image has won a Communication Arts 2020 Illustration Award of Excellence).
