Once, in a past life, Johan’s dream was to become a Formula 1 driver. For various reasons, that dream never became reality — but today, we can proudly say that in his own way, Johan has made it to the pinnacle of motorsport. Unlike most helmet designs, I chose not to follow the usual lines and curves. Instead, the design draws inspiration from the iconic art movement De Stijl, with bold, elementary shapes and colors. You’ll also find elements of classic Dutch architecture — a tribute to the Netherlands’ rich cultural history. This helmet was created especially for the Dutch Formula 1 Grand Prix. The red, white, and blue represent both the French and Dutch flags, symbolizing a unique connection between our two countries.

For DUNKIN’s 2026 New Year gift box collection, Shinyoung Kim focused on capturing the hopeful spirit of a new beginning while staying true to the brand’s warm and approachable identity. She incorporated traditional Korean motifs—including kite flying, Hanbok, magpies, and pine trees, throughout the illustrations, creating a playful “hide-and-seek” experience that invites customers to discover charming details. Rendered in her signature warm palette and expressive drawing style, the packaging brought a sense of comfort, celebration, and seasonal joy, offering customers a memorable visual experience in DUNKIN stores nationwide.

Did you know that many everyday words are actually geonyms? These are words derived from geographical names.
Bikini → named after the island of Bikini
Turkey → named after Turkey
Canary → derived from the Canary Islands
Flamenco → originating from Flanders
Pils → originating from Pilsen
The term geonym was coined in 1990 by Dutch scholar Robert-Henk Zuidinga and became popular thanks to Ewoud Sanders’ Geonym Dictionary.

Emotionalia

Emotions surround us. We have them, and this means we’re alive. Emotions are different. Love, hate, anger, grief, nostalgia, stress, surprise or orgasm. I have loads of them in my life and while doing this art project I tried to describe what every emotion feels like. Headache and stomach pains are different. So are the emotions. There is no formula for love as well as for every other emotion. To me, these are just microparticles and molecules running somewhere around our stomach and you hardly can describe this with words. But you can try to do it with the power of art.

Adam and Eve, It’s a very common story, but all the story that people heard or read is not focused on Adam and Eve’s love despite its fascination. Since Adam and Eve are the first mankind, so I thought their love represents all kinds of love till now. Therefore, I described Adam and Eve’s love. Most of all, I just thought the story would visualize the song wonderfully. In the part of the visual, I tried to put vibrant colors with bold designs. I focused on the emotions between Adam and Eve with a restrained manner, so I designed moderated characters by hiding their eyes. In addition, I hoped to convey the music’s mood with colours that changed along with beats. Adam and Eve which is expressed in its colour variations represent the diversity of mankind until today.

The shopping mall Marineda City decided to create an art route with murals inside the center itself. The initiative sought to give visibility to local talent, promote it and at the same time decorate the center itself. The commission was to visualise two concepts, sustainability and the world of fashion.
